HOW DOES IT WORK?
Our process is streamlined and straightforward. Simply visit our website and create an account. If you are planning on accessing your appointment via your phone, you must download the Instant Consult app from either the App Store (for iOS users) or the Google Play Store (for Android users). When you want to speak to a doctor, simply ‘request a consult’, follow the prompts, and you will be connected with the first available GP through video call.
Your device will also require minimum specifications, which are as follows:

- Speakers (connected/installed on your device)
- Internet Connection (WiFi or mobile data)
DO WE BULK BILL?
- Bulk billed consultations will be available to all Australians with a valid Medicare card until Sunday 19th July 2020.
- From Monday 20th July 2020 to 30th September 2020, bulk billed consultations will be available to all Australians with a valid Medicare card if they are under 12 months of age, homeless or living in a COVID-19 hot spot.
- If you are not eligible for a bulk billed consult from 20th July, or are not a Medicare card holder, rest assured we have kept our consult fees as low as possible (from just $35) to ensure we offer an effective and affordable solution to our users.
From 20th July, if you speak to one of our telehealth doctors, whom are covered by Medicare, you will be eligible for bulk billing if you meet the Medicare criteria listed above in dot point 2. This means that the government subsidises your appointment/treatment. This is a new addition to our operating model, since only recently Medicare has offered funding for online medical services, such as telehealth. This is just another benefit of reaching out to a telehealth doctor who is covered by Medicare, since you’ll have access to high quality medical advice in a convenient and cost-saving environment.

Simply log into our portal, make an appointment, organise your prescription with your doctor (when clinically appropriate) and then head to your local Chemist Warehouse, or any other pharmacy selected during consult, for immediate collection. Or have your prescription filled by Chemist Warehouse Online, or another online pharmacy of your choice, and delivered direct to your door.
